26th January 2024 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F6/F7 Surf / Sea State: Swells and chop Air Temperature: 9 Sea Temperature: 7.6 Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Some good rides on swells but wind a bit W so chop made swells hard to find. Better swells a mile out but nasty chop in vicinity too. Found water quite turbulent and hard work with gusts maxed out. Just before packing up tried a -0.3deg shim and everything felt better. Wind was even stronger but sea a bit smoother so maybe less turbulent. Will try again, wished I had done earlier. |
